The secret of the bible revealed!

We all want to live in paradise and so we ask the question, How do we get there? We must first research what information we have. We know from the old testament that the garden of Eden was a paradise. We also know that the first man and woman were driven out because they rebelled against the law of paradise. Let's explore this.

In the garden there were many trees including the tree of life and the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. (Genesis 2:9) Adam was commanded: "Of every tree of the garden you may freely eat; but of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil you shall not eat, for in the day that you eat of it you shall surely die." (Gen 2:16-17) Eve was tricked into eating the fruit from the tree and she also gave the fruit to Adam.(Gen 3:1-6) This was their rebellion and they were punished. To the woman: "In pain you shall bring forth children." To the man: "Cursed is the ground for your sake; In toil you shall eat of it... Till you return to the ground, For out of it you were taken; For dust you are, And to dust you shall return." (Gen 3:17-19)

What does this mean? Why was it so bad to eat the fruit from the tree of knowledge? Was this referring to actually eating the fruit from the tree, or was this some other act that eating of the fruit represented? The bible uses the phrase "Be fruitful and multiply" numerous times. When it says "multiply" it surely means to have many children. To be "fruitful" means to be productive, or more appropriately reproductive in this case, because this is how you multiply and have children. The bible uses "fruitful" in this context to mean "have sex." Can it have a similar meaning when referring to the "forbidden fruit" of the tree of knowledge? It can clearly be inferred to have the same meaning. So we can agree at this time that eating the "forbidden fruit" from the tree of knowledge was in fact the sexual act. They were forbidden to have sex in the garden of Eden! That is why Eve was punished with the pain of childbirth because it is a direct result of having sex. (I make this argument because some people actually don't believe the forbidden fruit is sex)

Eating from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, which is rebelling against the law of paradise and having sex, led to the eventual death of Adam and Eve. It can quite clearly be deduced that eating from the tree of life means choosing to live by the law of paradise, rejecting the evils of sex, keeping your virginity, and experiencing the benefits and rewards that paradise has to offer. It was said: "And now, lest he put out his hand and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live forever." (Gen3:22) Adam was not allowed to eat from the tree of life because he rebelled. "So Adam was driven out; and cherubim was placed at the east of the garden of Eden, and a flaming sword which turned every way, to guard the way to the tree of life." (Gen 3:24) Once you disobey the law of paradise and have sex, the tree of life is no longer available to you!

Now it's your turn. Do you choose to eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, and accept the
consequences? Or, do you choose to eat from the tree of Life and have a chance to be a part of Paradise?

**The story of Adam and Eve is not new or a secret. The fact that it's the most important message in the bible, but gets laughed at, scorned, ignored, disregarded, and misinterpreted is what makes it such a secret.
